My name is Derek Harris, I am a Columban Father, a Missionary Priest. I spent twenty six years living and working with Koreans.
During twenty six years serving in Korea I lived within one mile of North Korea and the daily uncertainty of that nuclear threat. During my time there I witnessed the ongoing suffering of the people of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I believe there is no place in our lives for nuclear power, in any form. The dangers outweigh the abilities of man to control it, the risks are too high and the mistakes too costly in human terms.
